EXQUISITE EARLY BUTTERFIELD TINY NO. 70A ‘IMPROVED SCREW PLATES’ TAP & DIE SET
The smallest tap and die is 1/16″ ’24’ and the largest pair is stamped ’20’ 1/4 1/64 (17/64″). The others run from 3/32″ to 1/4″ in 1/64″ increments. The set appears to be complete and 100% original. The box is also in superb condition. Very clean and with a 95% intact top label. The finest set of tap and dies I have owned. Likely pre 1900.
